I loved this dish! As other reviewers have said, use zesty Italian, and if possible use fresh herbs too. I have also tossed in some leftover shredded chicken to make it a complete meal and my family loves it. I bet this would look nice with tri-color rotini as well. Happy eating!

I made this dish leaving out the tomato sauce and mushrooms. My husband, who is the pickiest eater on earth, ate THREE servings of it and kept coming back to it later that night. I also thought it was very good. Using the zesty italian salad dressing proved to be a good choice!

I made this the night before and served it the next day at a pot-luck lunch. It was a big hit. However, I left out the mushrooms because I don't like them. After reading prior reviews I decided to use Tri-color Pasta and Zesty Italian. I made a double recipe, but wished now I had made more as it wasn't enough because it was such a big hit. Great recipe and will surely use this one again!

Wonderful, tasty, and super easy to make. Used tri-color rotini and nixed the mushrooms since we're not huge fans. Earned rave reviews from my family. And it doesn't dry out like dressing-based pasta salads have a tendency to do, even leftover a few days later. A+

I'd lost my old copy of this recipe, and my husband re-requested it. Needless to say, we're happy to have found it again. This is a really tasty, easy pasta salad. We especially like it after the flavors have some time to come together.
