This pot pie couldn't be easier. It’s loaded with chicken and vegetables in a creamy sauce and baked under an impossibly easy crust.

I think the person who partially pre cooked the steamer vegies prior to incorporating is on to a great idea*!* besides that, I'd season this with whatever flavors I wanted it to have, especially if your chicken is on the bland side! MY TIP; WHICH ALWAYS MAKES A CHICKEN POT PIE TASTE PROPER IS TO PUT A SMALL AMOUNT, NOT EVEN A CAPFUL, OF COOKING SHERRY INTO THE LIQUID AFTER REMOVING FROM HEAT*!* THIS IS WHAT GIVES STOUFFERS AND MARIE CALENDARS THEIR GREAT HOME MADE TASTE*!* GOOD LUCK*!*

This was very easy to put together. I partially cooked the veggies in the bag. I used left over chicken and cut it up. As long as your chicken was cooked with your favorite spices it will not be bland. I was a little leary about the bisquick on top but it cooked up just fine. It was a hit and I will be making this again!

I finally made this dish. Yuck! I'm from Louisiana and it didn't taste like anything. The veggies were undercooked if you followed the recipe as given. No seasoning at all. Ended up throwing most of it out.

Falconer- the last step= stir together remaining ingredients, it doesn't list everything but that is where the Bisquick comes in

I'm not a master chef, so did I miss the part about how the Bisquick is involved? I know it's for the crust, but there is no mention made of that, so I guess you already have to know.

Thanks for the receipe. I made this last night and made a few changes. Used 2 bags of steam fresh vegtables and cooked them for 6 minutes. Used 2 cans of Cream of Chicken with herbs and 1/2 cup of milk for the sauce. Also doubled the chicken. It was flaky and awesome. We ate the whole thing. Next Time I will double the reciepe so there is left overs.

My family loved this recipe - very easy to make a fast, home cooked meal. There were no leftovers of this meal!

I love this recipe but I change it up a bit sometimes. I use condensed cheddar soup and mix in a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Let it sit a bit after baked and let the cheese set up. It is actually better the next day. YUM!
