We have made this recipe for many years for church dinners. It can be made with either shredded or diced hashbrowns, we often add shredded cheddar to the potato mix as well as on top. it is always a winner.

I have made a similar recipe for many years. It has hashbrown potatoes, sour cream, butter or margarine and cheese. I usually use sharp cheddar as I like the extra flavor it gives, but any cheese would be great. Now I would like to make it with the soup as that sounds very good. My kids love this recipe and I usually have to make a big batch as they disappear pretty fast.

Great recipe however I use cream of potato soup instead of the recommended cream of mushroom or celery. Add pepper and salt on top. A favorite for Christmas morning brunch. Make it up a day before and bake the next morning.

This was very good. I also read over the reviews before I start making anything. I did the cream of chicken soup instead of the mushroom soup. I also doubled the recipe. I took it to a pot luck and there was nothing left. This was my first time every making Hasbrown potato bake. Let's just say it will be made again.

I made this casserole for my family about 3 years ago. It was a success, it's the dish I am requested to take when we get together. At work I have shared the recipe.

We eat this alot at our house. We add 1/4 c. of shredded swiss cheese also and it is great. Also for a different flavor try cream of mushroom soup w/roasted garlic. IT IS AWESOME!!

This was really good. My hubby suggested to maybe only put half of the soup in it next time. As it was a bit too rich. I will try that, and maybe the cream of celery instead of the cream of mushroom. It was also easy to make, and I used it for a side dish for 2 nights. It would definatly be a good side dish to take to a family gathering or pot-luck.

This is a big hit in my house! To make it easier, I mix everything right in the pan I bake it in. Once I forgot to add the milk, but I think it was even better when I omited that. Also, for a little kick, I add one diced jalepeno. Even those who don't like "spice" love it.
