With lots of melted cheese and crumbled bacon, these super-quick open-face sandwiches won't hang around long. A sprinkle of fresh parsley adds a pretty finish.

Mmm I just browsed the site and lonoikg at the photos I can see why you are into this blog! I'm the baker in the household and because its a bit challenging to chop, measure and stir with a demanding toddler grabbing at your legs we haven't had too many homemade baked good this winter but I might have to try some of these recipes! I was all about searching food blogs for desserts when I had the opportunity to bake more often.

This sandwich was quite good. I had to use the ingredients I had on hand which was sour dough bread, mild shredded cheese, bacon chips and dry parsley. The bottom of my bread didn't get brown but it still tasted good. A keeper for sure but next time I'll sprinkle some shredded Parmesan on top also.
