The coolness of the yogurt nicely complements the spiciness in this Mediterranean dish.

This was better than I thought it would be. I wouldn't really call it Greek...it was more like a healthy and tastier hamburger helper. I use turkey instead of beef and I added in a little lemon pepper and oregano. I also stirred in a wedge of Laughing Cow garlic and herb cheese in place of yogurt (I didn't have any on hand). It came out great!

Made this last night and it was incredible! I made three changes, one was to add some spinach about 3 minutes before it was done, then top it with some feta cheese and add some Greek seasoning to the yogurt. Hubby said he could eat it a couple times a week. Incredible!

This was a fantastic meal! My picky 3 year old loved it, which says a lot. We forgot to buy pita bread, but we did have tortillas on hand. It works beautifully as a "burrito" of sorts. I imagine pita bread would be better, however. If you double or triple the recipe, this keeps well as leftovers for a few days of lunches, also. I've made this to the letter 3 times now, and I think the next time I make it, I may add onions. Overall, this is very quick, easy, and flavorful.

I haven't made this yet, but it looks very yummy! I think instead of the red pepper I may use "spicy" Italian saugage along with the beef and then do like some of the others and maybe add some zuccini, mushrooms, and onions.

This was so quick and tasty, but I wouldn't really say it was very "Greek" tasting. I added diced onions and peppers to the beef as it was browning, and used sour cream instead of yogurt. We ate it with a side of grilled pita bread and grilled zucchini. My kids (15 &12) loved it and licked their plates clean. Next time I will add some Greek seasoning also.

This is very good. I did put my own touch to it. I added green pepper, onion, crushed red pepper flakes, & garlic as the meat cooked. Then, I added a little beef broth as the orzo cooked. After plating, I added freshly grated Parmesan cheese & chives. Will make again.

Very tasty! Added some Provance spices and red pepper flakes instead of cayene. My husband had seconds and with the little bit that was left over he will have a nice lunch today. I will be keeping this recipe around for quick meals. Served applesauce and green beans with it and it was delicious!

I haven't tried this yet but it looks great. I think instead of ground beef I would use either sliced round steak or beef cut into bite size squares. I think this would also be easily adaptable for crock pot cooking for a easy meal. I like the comment about adding additional vegies (bell peppers, onions, etc.)
