These bars are absolutely delicious! It is a great way to take a boring cake mix and make it taste completely homemade. Love how moist they are and the flavors blend so well. I have made these multiple times for picnics as well as over the holidays. They are always a crowd pleaser. And so easy to make which is the best part!

AMAZING, buttery, we brought to a party recently and everyone wanted the recipe. We didn't confide how easy they are to make. They are always a hit and we have made them many times. LOVE THESE! The worst thing about them is they are so good it is hard not to eat them all yourself.

If your a chocolate lover lover like me, you'll love these bars!! I didn't have any pecan frosting but I did have regular vanilla frosting. I then added a couple of drops of almond extract and a little Vanilla extract (more almond than vanilla) and the combination came out delicious! I even made it a little more colorful and used food coloring in the frosting.

This dessert was fantastic! I never thought of putting icing inside of the cake before but it tasted amazing. It provided a nice gooey layer in the inside. This recipe is perfect for any family who has chocolate lovers. Chopped pecans on the top would provide a nice crunch and alternating texture to the smoothness from the icing and melted chocolate on the inside of the bars. I will definitely make this again. It couldn't be simpler to prepare.
