Sorry to say this but there is no need to add canned and processed ingredients to such a wholesome dish this is, when is prepared the traditional way. Try it with all the fresh ingredients it requires for a simple, yet delicious cool Gaspacho, enjoy it.

I made this recipe for company and added some chopped mango, and a little cilantro, everyone loved it and even wanted seconds.

In Spain, instead of lemon juice, we use red wine vinegar. If you can, use everithing fresh, tomatoes, green bell pepper and the cucumber. The cucumber must be peeled but no seeded. Gazpacho doesn't incluid any chicken broth. When you are done blending it all together, dice some boiled eggs and prosciutto...mmm m m m mmmmm! sooo delicious!!!!

This is not my favorite gazpacho recipe. Couldn't quite put my finger on it but, something just didn't taste right. I tend to like my gazpacho spicier. So, I added some horseradish and just for fun, some boiled shrimp. Maybe it was the olive oil....hmmm...not sure.
