I had some of the green, chocolate melting wafers, on hand. I used those, instead of green, vanilla wafers. They are the ones you buy at the craft stores. You can melt them and pour them into candy molds.

I made these but had to frost the plain vanilla wafers green. They were a hug hit. I would LOVE to find green wafers but can only find purple, orange, and the plain. Can anyone help?

I'm sorry, but the website that I mentioned earlier (http://www.kelloggs.com/keebler/), for some reason is now nonexistent. I don't know why, so I went to Nabisco.com & I didn't find anything. I'm guessing that they put some green food coloring in a Ziploc baggie with some granulated sugar & the nilla wafers & shook the bag-then let them air dry on a cookie sheet.

I also looked for the green vanilla wafers. Here is some info. I found. Hitting store shelves right now are these Scooby-Doo Mini Vanilla Wafers in "groovy colors". The multi-colored wafers are labeled as "limited edition" and presented in a 12 oz. box retailing for $2.99 each. Interestingly, with purple and orange vanilla wafers, they had to put the words, "Same great taste!", to reassure hungry little munchkins. Visit Keebler online at: http://www.kelloggs.com/keebler/

Where do I get the green vanilla wafers? I searched the internet and can't find green vanilla wafers. The recipe does not say to color them. Anyone know? These look fun to make with kids.
