I thought these were super cute, so I was excited to make them for my boyfriend's sister's birthday today. They were pretty easy to decorate, but they didn't turn out looking as nice as the picture. It was difficult to arrange the "petals" in that same way where they are overlapping, so don't expect them to look like that. It also made it more difficult because cupcakes aren't flat on top, they're more domed, so the petals were sort of sliding apart. Even still, they're still very cute and everyone liked them. And I used white icing and colored it bright green to make the flowers really pop off the cupcake.

I made these cupcakes for a one year old's birthday party. I also made a small smash cake with a couple of flowers for decoration. I used brightly colored sugar for a more wow impact. I filled the center of the flower with a a little blog of colored icing. Two things to keep in mind: oil your scissors (which will need a good scrub afterwards) and press the flowers in while the icing is still wet so the marshmallow sticks.

I made these cupcakes for my boss's baby shower. Everyone raved about them, they were the spotlight of the dessert table. They all insist I'm in the wrong career field, of course I told them I couldn't have done it withough the help of my good friend Betty Crocker. *and yes, I highly suggest frequently oiling the kitchen scissors to cut each marshmallow. SUCH a hit!

I made these for my daughter's 5th birthday party and they were a hit! I had rock candy sucker(like you get at the zoo or the fair) and broke off small pieces and put them in the center. I also used big pink strawberry marshmallows and all different colors of sprinkles. They turned out so pretty! I will say that it took a while so give yourself plenty of time, but they are well worth it.
