I made this for a holiday get together last weekend. It was a huge success! It is a bit time consuming (not hard) to prepare but totally worth it. Everybody said how delicious it was and it was so festive and fun. Will be making it again this weekend for another Christmas party :)

It's a popular dish for parties. I made it twice over the holidays and it was everyone's favorite. I am using it again for the Super Bowl only putting it on a platter that looks like a football stadium and using green and gold bell peppers for the Packers side of the field and black olives and yellow peppers for the Steelers's side and with a small football in the middle. The only hint I would add is don't use a heaping tablespoon for each ball but a flat tablespoon. It's easier to roll into the ball and it gives you more balls.
