I've made these for a few events. At one event someone called them the cherry bars of heaven and kept telling people they weren't good so he could eat them all :) Very easy and very good!

I made this recipe yesterday, but I made half the recipe in a 8 inch square pan. I too usually make erything from scratch. But they looked so good in the picture. They smelled so good when they were baaking in the oven. Since they were so thick next time maybe I will make them in my 11x7 pan.

This was amazing! So easy to make, looks beautiful and tastes even better! You can easily mix it up with different pie fillings and extracts. I put sliced almonds on top to enhance the flavor and it made it look prettier too! I will make this very often!

These were horrible. They came out super thick, nothing like the picture.

Wow. These are amazing. I didn't expect them to be too great, but my mom really wanted to try them. I am SO glad we did. I usually like to make things completely from scratch, but these were simple and delicious. I am certainly making them for my party soon. I want to try other fillings too.

These truly are fabulous bars. I use raspberry pie filling and make them in a cake roll pan so they are not as thick. Also by making in larger pan, they are great to bring to potlucks.
