I did a few things differently. First of all, I used Zatarain's New Orleans style Spanish rice mix, which I cooked separately. Then I added Cajun-style andouille sausages and the rest of the ingredients. It came out pretty good and my husband loved it!

This was one of my favorite recipes to make for myself when I just started cooking. Followed it exactly and it was always delicious! Made it again last night, with turkey sausage, and added in frozen peppers and corn and some extra seasoning. Very good. It is a great recipe, very easy to make, and always seems to turn out great.

This jambalaya is incredible! I loved every bite of it. I made the recipe exactly as written, except for adding my own crushed red pepper to the tomatoes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fast, different meal to serve their family.

This is very good even without the hot peppers. I have added a little green onions and my family have loved this dish.

I tried this recipe last night for the first time and it was so easy to make! I couldn''t find cans of chunky tomatoes with crushed red pepper in it so I used cans of name brand chunky tomatoes with onion and green bell pepper in it. Also, I used chicken and skinless smoked sausage. It worked great!I also doubled the recipe to feed my family... I was scared it would be too spicy but it was just right, even my picky 2 year old ate some! We had enough to have leftovers and it is even better today! I am eating a bowl right now! YUM YUM
