Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box for cakelike brownies. Stir in zucchini and chocolate chips. Spread in pan.
  • 2
Bake 22 to 26 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 1 hour.
  • 3
Spread frosting over top. Store covered in refrigerator.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
For extra indulgence, top each serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • tip 2
The secret for cutting bars easily is to line the pan with foil. Turn the pan upside down and tear a piece of foil larger than the pan; smooth foil around pan bottom, then remove. Turn pan over and carefully fit shaped foil into pan. When the brownies are cooled, completely lift out of pan by foil "handles" and peel back foil. Frost top of brownies and cut into pieces.
  • tip 3
Mini chips are used in this recipe because the larger ones can sink to the bottom.
