Made this twice already. Loved the sesame seed idea. I doubled the amount of Bisquick (2 cups mix, 1 cup milk and 2 eggs) and it made this a hearty meal for my family.

my son loves this! - I used Jiffy cornbread mix for the topping (just follow directions on the box), deleted the cheese, and added a can of mexicorn (drained)--

Everyone in my family will eat this easy version of sloppy joes. I can make it ahead and put in the oven when it's time to eat.

A previous reviewer said this tasted like Manwich with hamburger on a bun. I am curious what they thought it would taste like when they read the ingredients and assembled them and was made with Manwich, hamburger and what is basically bread/biscuit dough? Did they think it would taste like something else magically when it came out of the oven than what was in it when you put it in there? When I make a pizza I dont expect it to taste like meatloaf. Anyway, I thought this turned out well. I found a similar recipe that uses biscuit dough that I prefer texture wise but am glad I tried this and probably would make again.

Fantastic! Super easy! Highly recommend. I doubled the recipe (9x13 pan)and used Jiffy corn mix instead of bisquick. Would be great for a pot luck. Definitely a keeper.
