I received a lot of compliments on this sauce. I gave a jar of this along with a jar of the Caramel sauce to two different people as hostess presents. Both sauces were highly praised by both recipients. My husband and I both love them both, too! Great for making turtle sundaes and topping with pecans.

This recipe is fantastic, and so easy! I made two batches to put in jars and give for the holidays, and kept one for myself - great over ice cream, bananas, you name it!

I wanted to make little jars of this sauce to give away as a little gift to some of my co-workers. The sauce tasted delicious in the pan, but the color of the sauce was not dark as pictured. It had the same color like packaged hot chocolate, so I'm not sure if I did something wrong. I'm also wondering if one of the ingredients was supposed to be condensed milk and not evaporated milk and that's why it came out the way it did.
