Yes, these cupcakes look like those famous spotted dogs. The chocolate cake has a hidden creamy filling and chocolate chip “spots.” Kids love them!

Followed the recipe and cupcakes turned out perfect. Just make sure your cream cheese mixture is room temp so it sinks.I will make these again!!!!!

I am new to baking and everytime I try to bake, I usually fail. But these cupcakes came out GREAT!! I made a few changes, used chocolate fudge cake mix and 8oz cream cheese and 1/2c sugar. They looked just like the picture! Thanks

These are great! I have made for over 15 years. They were always a big hit a my son's school parties. (to lady that used 8oz cc, I've always used 2 - 3oz pkgs and turned out fine; 16 oz of cc is a lot!)

These were really yummy! I wish I had read the reviews before because I used an 8 oz package of cheesecake and it did not sink to the bottom and there were an insane amount of chocolate chips. I think it's supposed to be TWO 8 oz packages!! Either way, it was way yummy and they came out cute. We called them Cruella de Ville cupcakes because the cream cheese part didn't sink to the bottom but left a white stripe! I will make again but with double the cream cheese!

Delish! yummy! kids loved them! i tried filling the cupcake holders as said in the recipe, and i tried hiding the cheesecake in between layers. The layer way where you add some cake batter, then the cheesecake, then more cake batter on top. It worked great! much better then the way the recipe said! I used a whole pkg (8 oz) of cream cheese, and kept everything else the same. I only used 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips in the cheesecake filling. It seammed like it was a perfect amount instead of the whole cup. Very dalmationy!
