package (7 oz) uncooked spaghetti, broken into thirds

cups Green Giant ® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen mixed vegetables
1/4
cup coarsely chopped red onion

medium tomato, chopped (3/4 cup)
1/2
cup Italian dressing
  • 1 Cook spaghetti as directed on package, adding frozen mixed vegetables during last 5 to 7 minutes of cooking time; cook until mixed vegetables are tender. Drain; rinse with cold water to cool. Drain well.
  • 2 In medium bowl, gently toss all ingredients to coat. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors before serving.

Your favorite frozen vegetable can be used in place of the frozen mixed vegetables.

Make it a main salad—toss in tuna, cut-up cooked chicken or ham.

I added chunks of pepperoni, sprinkled with parmesan cheese, and added garlic toast as a side. It is a GREAT, EASY meal!

Instead of frozen vegetables I used cut fresh cucumber, baby carrots, fresh brocolli florets, red onion, grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half. Sometimes I add shrimp, chicken or ham. The longer you let it marinate in the italian dressing the better. I normally make it the night before.
