Has anyone tried this recipe using low fat ingredients? I'd like to make it healthier but still have an awesome dish. Thanks!

I like the idea but am wondering if I could just use plain broccoli and make my own real cheese sauce? Anyone have ideas??

Very good. I also substituted 2 bags of broc and velveeta for the green giant w/ 3 cheese. I used appox 4 oz vel to keep it slightly more than the cream cheese with everything else the same and the family loved it. Definitely a keeper.

Absolute Awesomeness In A Dish! Will certainly feed a crowd! Super Easy. Do not plan on having left overs, as it disappears quickly.

I made this for Christmas this year. I may double it next time, because It was a huge hit! It was completely gone and everyone wanted more. I was TOLD ( not asked) to make this for Easter and EVERY Christmas from now on. I too couldn't find the three cheese broccoli so I just used regular broccoli and cheese and it was still great! Don't skip the hot sauce( I used Frank's Red Hot ). It really added a great flavor but not a lot of heat.

Loved this for a potluck. However it would never feed 14 as was mentioned in another review. To help keep the cost down and serve more people I added another bag of regular frozen brocolli, 1/4 c. velveeta and 1/4 c. 2% milk.

Made this for Christmas dinner. Our walmart didn't have the 3 cheese. I used the single cheddar cheese broccoli and added about 8 oz of white mexican queso cheese found by the nacho chips. I liked the red peper but, omitting the cream cheese and tobasco. It had good flavor and no complaints. No way this feeds 14 people more like maybe 8-10.

Made this for Thanksgiving and made half again as much. It was OK, still like the green bean casserole better, but this was OK for a change. Most people actually liked the pepper in it. That broc. and cheese was hard to find in my area, had to go to another town to find it.
