This was really good. I used boneless thin chicken breasts and I doubled diced tomatoes and tomato sauce with spices so there was more sauce and serviced it over cut sphaghetti. Highly recommend it.

Made it tonight for my family & everyone LOVED it! I was afraid the chicken would be too bland, but the tomatoes, basil, oregano, garlic, onions, & green peppers made the chicken taste AWESOME! The meat fell off the bone..I am not going to change a thing about it! I am going to share it with anyone who wants it! Yum Yum!

This was so delicious. My whole family raved about it....even my 5 year old picky eater. I did change one thing. I used six cloves of garlic. Grew up in an Italian home, and I adore garlic. It was amazing. Thank you.

Family loves this! We make fried chicken and fry extra for the cacciatore for the next night. It comes out best if you save a tiny bit of the grease with crumbles to mix in with the sauce. If you make it the same day, the flavors are even better when you reheat it the next night.
