Great...but may I say that I have yet to understand why members give items rating on 'considering to try' the recipe instead of waiting until they try THEN rate. It gives a false rating for others. Gee, when everyone else has rated it nearly perfect, someone that hasn't tried it comes along and rates it a 2? Makes no sense; what's their purpose?

Delicious and quick. Once you've made the dough, sprinkle some of the topping on first then it's easier to form it into an 8 inch circle without it sticking to your hands. Tastes great the next day when heated in the microwave for 10 seconds. Will be making this again.

I made the scones in a empty flowered pie ten. Afterward, I separated them. I think they came out great! He and I loved them. I will make them again. Serving it with some warm milk or hot coco makes the treat even tastier.

I believe that reads "45 calories from fat per serving" or a total of 5 grams per serving. I am going to try them!

Nothing wrong with the recipe, but I want to point out that this came to me as part of an e-mail called "10 dinners under 300 calories." A scone is HARDLY a dinner!

The person who wasn't sure where you get the streusel mix from to add the 2 tlbs. oats to: The streusel mix is separately packaged and included in the box with the muffin mix.

Directions are not clear. Recipe 1. says to "stir in muffin mix and 1/2 cup oats". Recipe 2. says to "mix streusel and 2 tablespoons oats. Sprinkle streusel mixture over dough". Where are you getting the "mix streusel" since you already added the entire "muffin mix" and now should only have 2 tablespoons oats remaining. I would love to try this recipe but don't want to put in the time and effort to have a potential flop. The picture looks wonderful. Hope you can clarify directions.

I was just looking at the lighter version of the cinnamon-oat scones and maybe the 250 calories and 44 grams of fat per serving is a misprint?? It doesn't sound very 'light'.
