Delicious cookie. I made one change because I was making these to give away as gifts. The hot fudge topping stayed gooey which was good but too hard to pack safely. I tried melting 1 cup of dark chocolate chips with 1 tbs. water in the microwave for one minute. When this mix was drizzled over the cookie and then sprinkles put on it was much prettier and the topping hardened making them more safe to travel with. Still tasted great!

These cookies are AMAZING! I made some for myself as well as Mother's day and mailed them to my Mom. They were a huge hit and totally easy to prepare.

Every year at Christmas I add a new cookie to my gifts to my family,(most are Scandinavian treats). what a big hit I made with this recipe, not only was it quick to prepare, it was a big hit with young and old alike. this will be a staple from now on per the request of seven children, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren as well as my husband.
