Enjoy a chocolate version of "Honey Bun" cake, so named because its flavor is reminiscent of a sweet roll.

very good cake:) it does have a tendency to fall apart when serving but who cares! Still tastes the same :D I didn't use nuts and made my own frosting, but everyone loved it. Will definitely save this recipe!!

This is a delicious and easy to make cake, every time I make it people just gobble it up. I skip the pecans (too many people don't like/can't eat nuts) and I always make my own chocolate buttercream frosting (fresh is SO much better than canned).

I made this for my boyfriend who is a chocolate freak. He instantly fell in love. I had to commit the recipe to memory. This may be my ace in the hole when I'm in trouble.

I didn't like this cake. I really hoped and thought I would too, as a result of liking the Honey Bun Cake recipe on this site. If you really like cinnamon and chocolate this is the cake for you. But I never really liked the combination of the two.

I made this cake to take to my office, and it was loved by all!! I substituted walnuts for the pecans, but we all thought that it was just as good. This is a recipe that I will keep at the front of my recipe box!

I made this cake for my office, and got rave reviews. I omitted the nuts and doubled the chips. I also used cream cheese frosting and sprinkled more chips on top. Mmmmmmm!

This cake is delicious! It reminds me of another favorite recipe for Texas sheet cake that my Mom use to make.

The first time I saw the recipe for this confection I was confused because it called for melted butter in the ingredients list, but when I went to look at the directions I couldn't find when it wanted me to add the melted butter. The only thing I could find is oil which isn't listed as an ingredient needed for this cake. Coming to the website I found that the back of the package was typoed and it ment to say butter when it said oil. I have as of yet to make the cake. I have high expectations though because of all the positive reviews I've read.
