This turned out great and my BF also loved it. I actually added extra milk chocolate morsels (can't get enough chocolate). Only thing I would change for next time, add more cheesecake batter (i.e. cream cheese portion) and maybe melt some chocolate over the crust.

I came across the recipe out of desperation. I accidentally bought a pkg of the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie mix, instead of buying regular Choc. Chip. No one in my family, except me, likes oatmeal cookies. Anywhos... so I was looking for a way to doctor up this cookie mix and maybe disguise the oatmeal. Man oh man did I strike gold when I found this recipe. I made it per the instructions the first time and it was awesome. Everyone loved it. The next time I made it, I added 3/4 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese mixture, to give it that NY cheesecake taste & I also added 1/2 c of flaked coconut and 1/2 c of lightly toasted chopped pecans to the cookie mix before I mixed it up, then prepared per the instructions. This was the ultimate dessert for me. It had all the things I love; oatmeal, chocolate, cheesecake, coconut & pecans!!! All I can say is WOW!!

I love this recipe. I read the reviews before making it and I just used a bit smaller pan and instead cut the cheesecake filling recipe in half so I used 1 bar of cream cheese 1/2 cup of sugar 1 egg and then the same amount of vanilla. I could tell when I was making it that it was going to be perfect becasue i like to taste test along the way lol. The bars turned out great and I had no issue with having to little oeatmeal cookie mixture. I will be making this again tomorrow becasue I gave my first batch toa friend for helping me and I want some in my own house!

I didnt read the reviews before I started to make this and I have a 5 month old so going back to the store for another cookie mix was out of the question, so I made it in an 11 x 8 pan and it worked out well. I did add some extra chocolate chips to the topping and next time I make these I think I will forgo the topping listed and make a ganache instead.

I made these for a potluck at work, and everyone loved them. Based on other reviews, I used two cookie mix pouches, but I thought that made the cookie too thick on both sides and overpowered the middle (I didn't double the filling). Anyway, I think they were better after sitting in the fridge overnight. Even though I wasn't crazy about them, every other person at work loved them, so I suppose they were good (haha).

Not overly impressed with the recipe. Not enough cookie mix to cover a 13x9 pan with enough left over to sprinkle around on top. Cookie mix was a little dry and not flavorful enough for this. The filling was fabulous. Not sure I would bother fixing this again.

I've made these bars 4 times in the last 2 weeks...Once to try them out and the other 3 by request for parties that i was attending! Huge Hit! Definitely agree with using 2 oatmeal cookie mix packs too...Leaves you with a little left over (to make a big cookie...yum) but having a thinker crust and more cookie topping is awesome too! I didn't have any problem removing the bars from the pan and cutting it with a wet clean knife really helps too. <3 THEM <3 THEM <3 THEM

This is a fantastic and easy recipe. I made it per the instructions the first time and the second time I had some left over coconut flakes and pecans that I needed to use, so I just added them into the the crumb topping mixture. They were fabulous.

I tried this recipe last night. I used a smaller pan and cut the cheese filling part in half. You really don't have enough cookie mix to cover a 13x9 pan. They are hard to cut up but just make sure to follow the tips of using a sharp wet knife and cleaning it off between each cut. Nevertheless they came out delish :)
