This is very easy and quick to make. I liked it, but my husband and daughter thought it was a little too sweet. Instead of using semi-sweet chips next time I might try dark chocolate to decrease the sweetness. Also, it seems like this dish could have used more cherries. Next time I'll use and extra can (or half can) of cherry pie filling, and use more cherries and less of the cherry "liquid". (I will reserve the remaining cherry goo for ice cream topping.) It will probably go further that way... I sort of felt like this was not really 9 servings when I made this the way the recipe directed... Just not enough cherries, but maybe that's the brand of pie filling I was using. The recipe says to serve this warm, but don't plan on eating it right out of the oven. You really do need to let it cool quite a bit (about 45-60 minutes) to let it firm up, otherwise it was just a gloppy mess! I actually preferred it at room temperature, or even cold (our leftovers were stored in the fridge).

This is very fast and easy to make for a dinner dessert! I used strawberry pie filling, also adding whip cream when its cooled isn't so soggy then putting it on top as soon as it gets out of the oven. Try it, its good!

I don't bake much at all. But this was so easy to make. I doubled the recipe, and the only thing I changed was to use milk chocolate chips. It was delicious! I took it to the big Easter lunch at my parents' house and everyone loved it. I think ice cream would have been wonderful with it, but I only had whipped cream, and that tasted great on it. I will definitely make this again, and I can't wait to try it with different fruit. Really easy, and really delicious... can't be beat!

This was really good. I only had mini chocolate chips on hand, so I used those. It made it a little too rich for my taste, but served with a little vanilla ice cream people just loved it! I will make this again, but use the semi-sweet chips called for next time.

Absolutely the BEST! Easy to put together with most of the ingredience already on hand. This was the first time I have made this but it certainly won't be the last. Have shared this with friends with our compliments and thanks to Betty Crocker for another excellent, yummy dessert.

I was looking for something quick and easy as I was invited to a party but didn't know until last minute. I had about 45 minutes. I found this recipe and had all on hand. I made a mistake and used 1/2 C butter (1 stick) instead of 1/4. It took longer to bake, probably because of the additional butter, but the party-goers raved about this cake and kept asking for the recipe. I also had some Giradhelli chocolate chunks - 60% cacao which I substited for maybe a third of the chocolate chips. This thing WAS awesome. AWESOME. And people are begging to know how to make it. Thanks Bisquick. Yum.

WOW! This is wonderful. I was looking for something to bake using just the ingredients in my cabinets. It was very easy and very good. I will likely be sure to keep cherry filling in the cabinets regularly so I can make it more often.

One of the easiest dessert I've ever made and still very good. I used strawberry pie filling instead (don't like cherry). Will make this again.

Didn't have any chocolate to add, but it turned out very good. Nice crumbly crust and just the right combination of tartness and sweetness. Reminded me of the crisps that were made by the cafeteria ladies, in grammar school, a long time ago. Gonna try the same recipe with chopped apples, sans (without) chocolate.

Never liked cobbler. LOVE this. Was the easiest recipe I've ever used. The grandchildren even liked this one. Blackberry is the best though the cherry was very good.
