I was finding it impossible to incorporate the oats until I thought about using my dough hook for my stand mixer. It worked perfectly!

I made these to take to work for a little party we were having. I found these to be quite dry and I think there is way too much oatmeal. It was hard to find the caramel inside with all the oats. I think I will pass on this recipe in the future.

I gave this recipe a try during the holidays and included the cookies in baskets I made up for family. Everyone loved them and begged for the recipe! They are rather moist and I would suggest allowing them to COOL COMPLETELY before even trying to cut. Very chocolatey, very gooey-good!

These were absoultely wonderful!!!! The chocolate,caramels and nuts what more can you ask for [right lady''s] With the holidays coming it will be on my baking list. YUM YUM!!!!
