This was really GOOD! I know it doesn't say in the recipe, but if you add some of the marinade to the wok with the pineapple, meat etc, it has a great flavor. that said, i added fish sauce, white pepper and ground ginger to the marinade for a little extra kick. I also skipped the onions. I was hoping to bring the rest for lunch today but the kids devoured it. This would go super over rice also (just omit noodles).

The end result was pretty bland. Luckily I had some plum sauce in the refrigerator. Just mixing that in really made it into a good dish.

It looks A LOT better in the picture! This was an o.k. dish. Not good, not bad. To quote my husband "For all of the flavorful ingredients that youput into this, you'd think it would have more flavor."

One of my favorites! I used ramen noodles the last time I made this. I also sprinkle in a bit of white pepper or Chinese 5-spices powder every time I make this. Diane/Miami
