I dont understand why people left recipe reviews who did not try the recipe. If you do not like the ingredients or the nutrition numbers, no comment is needed.Simply close the window and read the next recipe till you find one you agree with.Anything is acceptable in moderation and I most certainly will listen to advice from my physicians nutritionist before a Bisquick review panel.Sorry.I see comments like that on 3/4 of the recipes I read up on and simply dont understand why they feel the need to comment on something they did not try and obviously dont like.

To make this a "Heart Smart" Recipe--Use Heart Healthy Bisquick, 1 egg Beater and 1 egg, Use low fat (2%) Cheese, and low or not fat Sour Cream. Should not change the flavor or the texture. I have not tried this recipe, but I have used the above substitutes other in other Bisquick dinner dishes, with no change in taste or texture. Hope this helps.

I LOVE this meal, my husband and I are not vegetarians so not only is this good just the way it says to make it, but I have also made it by adding taco seasoned beef in with it. It is a wonderful meal. great flavor and enough kick to satisfy me :)

I tried this recipe because the cheesy biscuit topped chilis and tomato sounded so good. I followed the directions carefully. It looked beautiful, but the crust was very dry and spongy. The tomato and chili filling was soggy. I was disappointed.

I was just wanting to know if this recipe could be made more healthy by using the Bisquick Heart Smart and lower fat cheese and egg substitute ?....everything else seems healthy.

this was great! if you are worried about the fat content, remember moderation. at the least i add an extra egg. try adding mushrooms and ham or bacon. cant wait to try seafood or peppers from the garden. enjoy.

This was a disappointment--much too dry despite all the fat content. I won't repeat this one.

Sounds delicious :-) BC did not advertise this as a healthier recipe...I might make it for a special occasion for breakfast--Mother's Day, birthday, etc. Once a year, I think we can eat something delicious...
