My family was not over joyed with this soup. It was a little bit of a pain to make and the dumplings were soft. I should have read the reviews first. Not bad overall but not sure if I will do this one again.

Made this myself with a few changes to suit the family. Was a very satisfying and easy meal to make. For those whose dumplings were too soft you may want to cook them a little bit longer and make sure your lid covers the pot well.

This recipe was really good! I used celery, onions, and carrots and cooked them seperately from the chicken. I also used fresh italian parsley and instead of thyme I found that fresh sage tasted really good with the chicken. Because I was making such a huge amount I made the soup and then put it in a roasting dish. I cooked the dumplings in the oven with the top on at 350 degrees. Delicious! Next time I will use even more fresh herbs!

I added 1 teaspoon of pepper and about a teaspoon of powdered chicken flavor instant bouillon. Also I only used 1 clove of garlic. It was very good.

I found the recipe easy to make and very tasty. The only thing which didnt go well in the soup was the corn. Otherwise VERY hearty and tasty. I give it 9/10.Thanks - KEH
