The DASH diet recommends 2000 mg of sodium per day for a heart healthy diet. This recipe contains 1620 mg of sodium in one serving - definitely not heart healthy. alternative - get rid of the progresso soup and use fresh ingredients.

I haven't tried this yet but it does sound good. Ladyten... I was told and have read that if something is to salty, add a whole peeled potatoe to whatever it is your cooking and it absorbs the extra salt. Hope it works!
