I've made this for my family several times and it's always a big hit. If you're looking for an eggy casserole, you'll probably be disappointed. This is more of an oven-baked pancake. But we like the apple, bacon, and cheese flavors. My only criticism is that it does take a while to prep all the ingredients. And then of course it needs to bake. So if your kids are already pounding their forks on the table, this isn't the recipe to make. On the other hand, if you have the time, this is a very good brunch choice.

I made this for my boyfriend on one of our anniversaries. At first, I was trying to figure out if I liked it or not. Then I ended up getting a second serving! My boyfriend, got a fourth serving! It has such an interesting taste. But we personally like it.

Very disappointing! Way too "bready" and not enough flavor. It was a lot of work as well. Needs more apples and sugar, maybe even some cinnamon and less bread (maybe not a bad idea like someone else said to reduce the amount of Bisquick and add another egg. Will not be making this again either way. Huge flop!

I made the casserole, and will mix the cheese into the egg mix with the bacon. I'll top the casserole with more cheese, and probably add an additional apple for a little more substance in the mix.

We had company for breakfast and everyone loved this recipe. The only thing I did differently than the recipe was to use 5 eggs. It was delicious!

Very disappointing! Made it for a family gathering & no one liked it. To bready & not enough flavor. Might be better with bacon & cheese mixed in.

Didn't try it yet, but it would probably be yummy to drizzle maple syrup on top!

This sounded better than it really was. Not as tasty as I felt it should be.

It was good but not great. I needed a dish for our church brunch and didn't want to go to the store so I searchied the site for a recipe. It is more of a sweet bread with bacon & cheese. I am going to try it again like an earlier reviewer suggested with 1 cup Bisquick and 6 eggs to make it more of an egg bake.

Takes a little time to create...next time I'd do the prep work ahead of time. The flavor is EXCELLENT! I'm planning on making this for our next church function.
