I have made this twice, the second time I added cardamom because that is listed on chia tea packages. It tasted more like purchased chia with the cardamom so I would suggest adding it. It is great recipe and very close to the purchased chia mixes. Much cheaper than going to the coffee shop. It is good either hot or iced.

Pretty good taste. Close to "Oregon Chai" brand flavor. A little milkier taste than I prefer. The second time I made the recipe, I boiled 5 tea bags 3 minutes with 3 cups water then added spices and only 1 cup of milk. Brought it all to a boil, poured into mugs and added 2 teaspoons powdered creamer to each mug. Very tasty!
