Played around a little with this recipe. I used apple sauce instead of butter and used oatmeal instead of flour. I actually used 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal. My husband really enjoyed them. It was bit hard to tell when they were done. But over all I really recommend the changes if you are looking for a healthier option.

So simple & so yummy! Tried these for the first time to take to a cookie exchange. They were a hit! Also, hubby took leftovers to work the next day and came home telling me what a big hit they were with co-workers. Going to make more for us this week and another batch to take to our families over New Years! Definitly one I will remake! I only got 3 dozen per batch for what I consider an average size cookie.

This is one of the most popular cookies I make. People just love them. They think they are beautiful and very delicious. If I don't make these cookies, my family gets mad. They love them!

These were wonderful. I've made cookies using cake mixes before but they ususally get hard the next day, or even later in the day. These never did, great. I'm making these again and sending it onto my kids for them to make too. Great receipe.

These cookies were a snap to make. I chose to use the raisins as suggested for a variation and was not disappointed. I chose not to drizzle the icing on them and they were sweet enough without it. The cookies seemed a little dry but we enjoyed them just the same with a cup of coffee. I would make these again.
