Make a hearty chili following the tip for precooking the ground beef. Ready-to-add canned extras are all that's needed.

This chili was awesome. Although I did change the recipe a little. Instead of hamburger I used 2 lbs of ground venison 60/40 mix and of course added my peppers and garlic. Still a quick and easy recipe and very GOOD!

This chili is awesome it is to make and easy to prepare. Of course I doctor up the recipe and add fresh garlic, pinch of red pepper, and put in a package of ready made chili spices, found in any store for under a buck. Never had complaints, its a winner every time. Thank you.

This was excellent and easy to make. It is easy to modify too because the original recipe is way too bland. I added walla walla onions, kidney beans, chilli beans, rotel tomatoes, green chilies, the tomato soup that it called for, and a mixture of seasonings that I don't even remember... and just wow! The recipe turned out well.

This chili is awesome. Didnt go camping but made it at home. The flavor is awesome. All I changed was the amount of beef, tomoato soup and extra beans. Doubled it. And it is awesome. I also added crushed red pepper flakes to give it some spice. Great recipe. Thanks

This is the way I make chilie except I also add green peppers and canned chilie tomatoes also the beans could be any variety of chili beans. You have to go with the flow whatever the mood is or whatever you have on hand . I do not use a whole can of water only enough to swirl in the can to rinse it out. Never a complaint about my chili

I made this at home instead of camping, so I modified a bit. I used freshly chopped onions and added garlic, cumin, and a dash of tabasco. It was super quick and easy to make. Perfect for my cold nights here in Sweden, and the extra spice helps with nasal congestion. The consistency is a bit on the runny side, but that isn't anything a bit of simmering on low heat couldn't fix. A good, solid recipe. Not like grandma's, but still very tasty. :)

I love chili and I love tomato soup and so I thought I would love this...but it just wasn't what I thought it would be. I still rated it a 4 because it was good just not my favorite!

I found that something was missing from this recipe. I added 1 can of tomato paste to it and that made a big difference.
