this is AWESOME - the onions i did leave slivered, in case anyone wanted to pick them out, as they're kind of potent. I also SUBSTITUED about 3/4 cup mayo for the oil, as i prefer a creamier slaw. I used the juice from an LARGE fresh lemon and about 2 TBS orange rind. It was YUMMY also...i couldnt find the BROCCOLI slaw pre-package, so I just used regular slaw mix & added 2 heads of fresh broccoli flowerettes

I usually don't write reviews because I don't find any recipe that exciting. However this salad was great! I tried it for the first time with company while we were camping and it was delicious. Very refreshing. Everyone wanted the recipe. Worth the work.

This slaw was delicious, I made it for Mother's day for my mom, grandmother and dad, and they all loved it! I ate the left overs for lunch 2 days in a row and it tasted great every day! I felt so healthy eating it, even if had onion breath afterward, lol!

So Good! This slaw is light and refreshing. It is a nice departure from the normal mayo based slaw recipes. It is is best if you let the slaw sit for a while, and it even tastes good the next day!
