1
box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker® Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
1/4
cup vegetable oil
1/4
cup water
2
eggs
Football-shaped cookie cutter, 3 1/2x2 inches
1
cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting (from 16 oz container)
Betty Crocker® white decorating icing (from 4.25-oz tube)
  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray.
  • 2 In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, oil, water and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan.
  • 3 Bake 34 to 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • 4 Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan. With football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. Spread frosting on brownies. Pipe on decorating icing to look like football laces.

Expert Tips

No football cookie cutter? Make a paper cutout, and cut the brownies around the shape.

If you’re cutting brownies with a knife, use a plastic knife for the slickest, cleanest cuts that won’t tear the edges.

I loved this recipe. I made it for a superbowl party and everyone loved them. I made two batches. The first batch I used parchment paper instead of foil, and the second time I used foil, and the first batch came out a whole lot better. I recomend parchment paper.

I made these last night for our SuperBowl party. They were absolutely delicious and a big hit with our guests. The kids couldn't wait to eat their dinner so they could eat a football brownie!
