These were AMAZING! A cup of butter seemed like kind of a lot, so I substituted 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce for 1/2 cup of butter. I also used 2 cups of white flour instead of the wheat. They baked up perfectly in 12 minutes. These are probable the best cookies I've ever made- a new favorite!

Soft, chewy, flavorful! I made these tonight for our Family Night and we gobbled up the whole batch! ( I do have 6 kids; 5 teenagers!) I loved using my whole wheat flour in such a yummy way. These are definate keepers!

These are really good! I added raisins to half of the dough and they are good too. Only bad thing, I couldn't stop eating them...

These were easy to make and tased great ;however,I made the mistake of just dopping the dough on the cookie sheet without "speading " them out.I adjusted my mistake and the next batch came out looking as good as they tasted...nice and chewy! I will be making these again.

YUMMY!!!!JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SWEETNESS AND CHEWYNESS.ALSO VERY EASY TO MAKE, ALL IN ONE BOWL. I ADDED ONE CUP RAISINS. WOULD ALSO BE GOOD WITH NUTS OR CHOCOLATE CHIPS. MAKES A LOT OF COOKIES.
