I used 2 packages of fresh blueberries and it was wonderful! I was so proud of it! I do have to agree with the review from lauramalicksmith who said the blueberries are the showcase. I figure it cost about ten dollars but considering if you bought a desert, this wasn't bad. I can't wait to make it again.

I've made this recipe twice. The first time it didn't have enough "cake" and today I made it the second time with much better results. I used a whole stick of butter, melted in the bottom of my 13x9 glass pyrex dish. In a separate bowl, I mixed the Bisquick, sugar, and milk as directed. I used a bag of Walmart brand blueberries, they were frozen when I added them on top of the Bisquick mixture in the dish. After adding the blueberries, I made another batch of the Bisquick mixture and poured on top of the berries. It had to bake for approximately 50-55 minutes at 350 degrees. It was worth the wait! I personally like a lot of berries and a lot of cake in my cobbler, and my husband LOVES it! :)

This is really good! I did take note that some of the other reviewers cut the amount of butter from 6 Tbsp. to 4 Tbsp. I also did this. I also added to my blueberries 2 Tbsp. Sugar, about 11/2 Tbsp Bisquick and maybe 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice. Then I added 1/2 - 1 tsp. vanilla to my batter. I also added a pinch of cinnamon to both the berries and the batter.

Too greasy for me. I'll try it again using half the amount of butter or doubling the bisquick mixture and see how it does.

Extra easy quickie dessert. Being diabetic, I substituted the Heart Smart Bisquick for the "original" ~ there are no directions anywhere on this site that says you can't? I used the 6TBS butter and DOUBLED the bisquick, milk and used 1/4 cup of Splenda to make the 'cake' part. I used fresh blueberry's as I live near the Blueberry Capital of the USA, Burgaw, NC. Blueberry festival is going on now! I also sprinkled cinnamon over the berries with about 10 drops of lemon juice from thawed Minute Maid Premium 100% Lemon Juice, which comes frozen in juice section at your market. You just thaw the whole little yellow bottle and keep it in your fridge for months and months. Always on hand. This freshened up the whole dessert. You diabetics can have your cake and eat it too.

Good quick recipe! I added some bisquick to my blueberries since I used frozen. I inverted the recipe instructions: I mixed the butter in with the frozen berries and stuck them in the oven while I mixed the dry ingredients.

Very easy and tasty! I made it for my father-in-law's 80th birthday dinner and that fussy eater asked for seconds! So did my husband who usually isn't a fan of berry cobblers. I did follow the advice of some of the previous reviews, doubling the bisquick/sugar/milk mix for more cake. I also used a mix of blueberries and blackberries with sugar and minute tapioca to thicken (following the minute tapioca package directions) for the fruit. This will definitely be my standby cobbler recipe!

This was so easy to make and got the highest reviews at a church get together. I made it the next day with peaches and just softened and sweetened them first, also so delicious!! I even used frozen blueberries, thawed and drained. Perfect dessert!!
