These were really very good, quite moist. I did have trouble with them sticking to the cupcake papers so the next time I'll either spray the papers or just skip them and spray the muffin pans. They're the perfect little chocolate treat.

I recently made this recipe for a party. It was well received by family and friends. I made two changes to the recipe...the first one was with the cherries, I used the "lite" and the second change was I made them as mini muffins as opposed to the standard size. It would be helpful if times and temps were given for the various pans, etc. Would I make this again? YES!

Awesome treat. It''s also good to use the mix with peanut butter chips, instead of cherry filling ...about 5 or 6 p''nut butter chips per muffin cake. There are many variations you can use with this recipe.
