My kids loved these because of the bright colors and they were soft. I had to experiment because I found that if I left the cookies to cool for 1 min before removing from tray that they stuck and crumbled when I tried to remove them. So I removed them from tray immediately from the oven and sprayed cooking spray on my cookie sheets. The cookies had a good flavor and were very light.

These cookies aren't bad for quick cookies. The dough is too dry, could be my climate, so for Christmas cookies I added some eggnog and spices. They were yummy! When I made them again I just added some milk. I piped on some canned frosting and added sprinkles, and my family was happy to have homemade cookies.

I really like Betty Crocker recipes. With that said, I was disappointed with this recipe. I use vanilla vice almond, and they are bland, and hard. Very pretty, but not very good.

A little dry...but good. It has a "salty" after-taste that my family really loved. Probably from the Bisquick. I made a couple changes...I used Vanilla extract instead of almond, and added 1 cup of white chocolate chips. I had to cook them for about 7-8 min instead. But that may have been due to oven variations. All in all, very easy and tasty. Will make these again. Just change the colors for the holidays! =)

If you are in a hurry, NOTHING beats this recipe. I used 1 TBL. spoon of pure Almond extract and added some toasted shredded almonds into the batter. The crowd went crazy!!!! This is a twist on the Chinese Almond Cookie. If you wish to show off a bit place a toasted whole almond in the center of each cookie.
