Eddie-s I think you're overthinking how these work. You don't need a mixer for these, just a good spoon and bowl. Why not make one batch of 9 and a second batch of 9? Save the uneaten ones for leftovers. It doesn't take all that long to stir and drop these suckers onto a cookie sheet.

Bisquik Biscuits! I haven't made these in years, but I just made the recipe tonight (from the side of the box) and they turned out great (2 1/4 C Bisquik, plus 2/3 C milk). Instead of rolling them, I just patted them between my hands and put them in a cast iron skillet in the oven until they were golden brown. When I took the biscuits out of the oven, I topped them with a very small amount of butter. Yum! They were great!

Ok, I'm frustrated... I need to make a dozen biscuits which is about normal for a family of 4. So how come I can only find receiepes of 9 on the box...And I use a Kitchen Aide Mixer, so how come no receipes for using a Mixer...Maybe that is why Mom's in a hurry ignore this product...It is not user friendly, well the receipes on the box aren't, think family size, two biscuits per person, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, etc. etc.... So now I have to go make six separate batches to get the number I will need especially after reading the comments about doubling the and tripling the current receipe...I don't have the time for this........

I needed biscuits for 28, so I tripled the recipe on the Bisquick box, which calls for 2 1/4 cups of mix and 2/3 cup of milk. I used 6 3/4 cups mix and 2 cups milk. But I found I had Bisquick soup. I ran out and bought a second, small-sized box of Bisquick to thicken it, and still had very gloppy batter, even after using the whole box. Does anyone know why that happened?

These were easy, good, fast, and all in one bowl! I followed the back of a bisquick box for the "family-sized" recipe (a smaller version, 2 1/4 cup bisquick and 2/3 cup milk) but I cut that in half and added a tbs. of mayo to add flavor. The biscuits were super tender (maybe a little too tender) and good, but not the best-tasting bicuits I''ve ever had. Still, they were good for such a simple recipe, will make again :)
