This has a great flavor but it is too wet. Next time I will only put half of the milk on top of the cake. It was a little to sweet for me.

I've been making this for years and it's always a favorite. My grandson calls it "Holy Cow! Cake". It is extra rich and only takes a small serving to satisfy and very easy to make.

I made this for co-workers birthdays and it was a hit. I will know I can make a smaller cake next time due to the richness of this dessert, but I will be making it again.

This cake is always a hit when made. I feel so bad sometimes when I want to slave in the kitchen for half the day to make a culinary masterpiece, but instead I cut corners and make this cake. OF course, I quickly get over it when I have the rest of the day before the party to goof around! :oD I have used caramel and butterscotch to drizzle, and both are awesome! If it's a party where do don't know folks well, stick with caramel because it seems safer than the acquired taste of butterscotch. Toffee chips top this decadent dessert and wow! Such a perfect topping to an already wonderful dessert.

This is awesome! My husband loves this cake and asks for it often! He can't remember the name, so he calls it Gooey Cake! :-) And if I bring this to events/parties, everyone wants the recipe!

I've been making this for years without the milk. It's never mushy or too sweet. Every time I take it somewhere everyone wants the recipe.

I made this into cupcakes so it would be easier to bring to work. Some how I also forgot to use condensed milk and only used the caramel. Still turned out awesome and everyone loved them. I also add 1 heaping tablespoon of hot fudge topping to my cool whip and top the cake with that. It was very light and yummy! Everyone at work loved them!
