This was very delicious dinner, and perfect for a cold day. I doubled the recipe to serve the whole family and also cooked up a batch of fresh green beans as a side dish and it completed the meal!

I pretty much view recipes as suggestions for how to get started and based on my own taste and culinary skill I make modifications. I love simple ones like this since they are fun to play with ...I followed the recipe AND added 4 thinly sliced cloves of fresh garlic, 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, Julienne cut fresh carrots, thinly sliced fresh red onion. This filled it out more and added a bit more flavor. Last night we ate it with the potato and today the little bit that was left over is over a serving of quinoa cooked with 1 bullion cube and minced dried onion...DEEEELISH! This was a big hit in our house and one to make again! I love it because its fast, easy and satisfying. We're on Weight Watchers to the additions I made, added no points! I'd add more red pepper flakes next time and maybe a few more veggies!! Yumm!

I was very surprised and pleased with this recipe. It's not what I would normally think of as Stroganoff, but the flavor was wonderful. I made it according to the recipe, but tripled the mushrooms, which absorbed any excess water and helped make this dish very creamy. I'll be enjoying the other half for lunch tomorrow.

I made this for dinner and I was not impressed - tasted salty and soupy. My husband did like it but thought it would be better with noodles rather than baked potato. I also think it would be much better with more fresh vegetables added.

This recipe is one of the best I have tried that is both healthy and extremely tasty. To boost the vegetable quantity contained in the soup, I steamed and added sliced carrots, green beans, and drained waterpack artichoke hearts. I also substituted for the beef in the recipe, vegetarian Meal Starter Steak Strips, which even my non-vegetarian friends loved. Along with a salad, it makes a very hearty dinner.

This recipe is awesome! Very easy to make, taste great plus it is filling. I am on weight watchers and this is one of the best recipes I have had on the program. Plus the soup is great by itself for lunch.
