Meatballs

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/2
cup finely chopped water chestnuts
1/3
cup Progresso® plain bread crumbs
1/4
cup sliced green onions
1/4
cup milk
1
egg, slightly beaten
1
tablespoon soy sauce
1/2
teaspoon garlic salt
Sauce
1/2
cup barbecue sauce
1/4
cup plum sauce
2
tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix meatball ingredients. Shape into about 36 (1-inch) meatballs. Place in pan.
  • 2 Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center.
  • 3 Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Transfer meatballs to slow cooker. In small bowl, mix sauce ingredients. Add sauce to meatballs; stir gently to mix.
  • 4 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 to 4 hours.

Awesome meatballs! Made them for a party and they were gone, gone, gone! Next time will make more! Easy to make too! Best meatball recipe I've ever made!

I made these for a New Year's party. They were really simple to make and tasted great!! My husband loved them and the guests did too. There were none leftover. I will be making them again.

These were great! my mom said don't change a thing with the recipe. I would only recommend that these dont cook on high for 4 hours in the crock pot. The sauce started to burn after 2hours, so i turned the crockpot to low.
