This is great, easy and simple. I love trying different ingredients so instead of Red Onions and Mushrooms, I used Snow Peas, Scallions and Water Chestnuts and chicken thigh meat (no skin) - used finely minced fresh ginger and garlic whisked in with low sodium soy sauce and sesame oil, a squeeze or two or three of a fresh orange, a dash of brown sugar, and, a dash of both black and white sesame seeds and whisked it all together, marinated everything in the fridge for a couple hours - then, threaded the marinated items onto skewers and broiled - turning over once. WOW - they tasted so yummy! Marinated meat and veggies cooked on skewers is the best - thank you!
