I have made a similar entree by using the packages of dry Ramen noodles without some of the seasoning packet. Add your veggies, chicken (or beef), and soy sauce and it is very good. A wonderful way to use Ramen noodles that aren't being eaten!

My family loved this and can't wait for me to make it again. It was a little dry, so I did use more hoisin sauce than the recipe called for.

Ive just started cooking since my wife became ill and rely heavily on recipes. This did not turn out well for me. Everything went fine until it said stir in the hoisin sauce and heat to boiling. Well, there wasn't anything to boil!!! It turned out quite dry, but after adding soy sauce after it was on my plate, it wasn't too bad. Now I have to figure out what to do with the leftovers.

A quick and easy meal and we enjoyed it. You can use any veggies for this and along with a piece of garlic bread it is all you need.

I am not familiar with asian cooking but this got my attention. I used what veggies and mushrooms I had and enjoyed the meal. I am anxious to do it again with some of the suggestions from reviewers.

Excellant recipe,I added a 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 3 tablespoons of spicey oyster sauce and chopped elephant garlic to the hoisin sauce. That made it more authentic in flavor. I live out of Phoenix, Arizona where fresh vegies are available almost year around. The kids went for this recipe as well as the neighbors.A good potluck dish.

as an asian, maybe i can suggest for this recipe. before you fried the chicken, fried about 3-4 cloves of garlic (diced), and at the end (after stir in the fettuccine) you can also pour some sweet soy sauce, and stir again. That's we called fried noodle.

I don't know if it was the way my boyfriend made it or if it was just how it is, but I wasn't to fond of it. Although I didn't hate it.

My husband and I made this dish. Instead of frozen veggies we used fresh and it was awesome. We also probably used more hoisin sauce. We used green and red peppers, broccoli, water chestnuts and baby corns. Paired with Pinot Grigio! Yummy.
