I was a bit disappointed in this recipe (as is). I ended up leaving it in my oven for longer since the tooth pick wasn't coming out clean. Then I used vanilla extra instead of flavor and the cream cheese topping tasted off. The cake part didn't seem moist at all. I think it needed some extra apple (I didn't see motherbear's) post to help moisten it up. I might try a cream cheese glaze instead of making the toppping.

Took this to a church function. Dee-licious! Wanted to try out this "muffin mix" bar recipe. Chages made: Instead of pumpkin I grated a large peeled Granny Smith apple into it and doubled the frosting. Was a hit!

Great recipe! The frosting is amazing. My only suggestion is to keep in the fridge. It is a very moist bar.

this was excellent- however, I doubled it and it didn't get done all the way in the center (even tho I checked it- I thought). I will try it again, also I added raisins to it and everyone gave it 5 spoons up
