"Again, another "German" recipe with the BBQ sauce. It would not happen in Germany. The sauce is more like a gravy. When this dish is cooked with the right ingredients, it is a filling meal."

"I don't know who came up with the BBQ sauce, it did not come from Germany. This dish when cooked German style show be more of a gravy than a sauce. We have a wonderful German restraunt in OKC called the Rathsceller. I had this dish there and it was wonderful. If you ever spend any time in OKC check it out. You do have to have a resversation. The people who own the place are from Germany and the hospitality is wonderful!"

"I loved it! I was really excited that my husband liked it. My husband is a meat and potatoes man. We have been married for 27 years and the thought of cooking the same ole thing all the time made me not want to cook. I am finally convincing him that other foods really taste good! FINALLY! There may be hope yet! One thing I would like to say to people about the Saba noodles. If you like Asian food a lot, it is worth it to go to a shop that sells,(I know they make them in Japan, they may make them in other countries in Asia) Asian foods and get them. They are REALLY good. There are chefs in Japan that study the art of making them for years. They are that important."

"I love Asian food! But I need help. As 98% of people that cook Asian food, they make a lot of the dishes will bell peppers. I can't handle them. I have been trying to figure other things to use in their place. Ideas anyone?"

"I made this with snap peas, not broccoli. Added onion, carrots, and the extra gravy. It was good. I saw the other reviews. You do not use a mixer, use a spoon to stir next time. :()"

"I want to say thank you to both of you. I looked at this recipe and thought no....well maybe.....it looks really good.....but that is a lot of prep and putting it together......the family will love it. Then I read your reviews, and I was glad the two of you reviewed it! I am sorry to hear that you both were so disappointed at a time when people don't want to be. Thanks to your honest reviews, a lot of people won't be disapointed and won't waste their time. THANKS!!!!!"

" sjz003 is correct. I lived in Pakastan for 7 years and visited the neighboring countries. Each country makes it a little different than the one next to it. The only reason some call them chickpeas and some call them garbanzo beans, again it depends on what country you are talking about. I noticed here in US people forget the citrus. Don't forget the citrus. It works very well against the garlic. :)"

"My husband and I like this one. I added a little onion and garlic powder as well as frozen peas. He liked enough to eat it again. Which was odd to me. He does not like any of the hamburger helper products. Maybe I can slip them in if he does not know it is in the dish. ;)"

"When I made this the first time the only thing I changed was ommitting the bell pepper. It was good. The second time I made it I used strips of steak that I let simmer in a little butter for about 20 minutes (while I watched TV). I added frozen snow peas and used soy sauce instead of teriyaki sauce. The snow peas with the water chestnuts added a fresh crunch to it."

"These were good. But they do not taste like the real thing. Making real Baklava takes a lot of time and the right pastry. I think the extra time to make it right is worth it! :)"
