"Just made this... it is fabulous! I added a jalapeno- seeded chopped pepper, used chipolte diced tomatoes, all the same as recipe except omitted some of the cayenne pepper. Excellent! Will definately keep this recipe!"

"I make lots of pumpkin desserts. This is one of the easiest and tastiest. I use spice cake mix. Never have pumpkin pie spice, so, I mix allspice, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon together and use in place of it. I use milnot because it is fat free. I can never find fat free carnation milk. Be sure to spread the butter evenly over the dry cake mix and add the nuts. I also sprinkle a little cinnamon into the nuts or over the top. Almost everyone who isn't crazy about pumpkin pie loves this. "

"These are so good everyone requests them. I serve them with different spicy mustards. Just be sure not to dry the sausage too much. It is really hard to roll into balls if there is no moisture at all from the sausage. This last time the sausage I bought was really lean, and the sausage balls were dry and crumbly."

"I have made a variation of these for 40 years. I use 2 cups heart healthy bisquick and the rest the same except I use jalapenoes chopped 1/2 cup or I use slices which I insert into the center of each one. That way I know how much each one gets and I can make some without jalapenoes easier! I also use cilantro when I have it. Never tried any other herb. But have eaten with italian seasoning and parmesean cheese."
