My husband traveled a lot and my kids would get upset when he left. I suggested one time when he was leaving that we would "turn the day around" and have pancakes (with blueberry syrup) for dinner while Dad was gone. They were tickled. Then every time they saw the suitcase, the question would come "are we going to turn the day around?" You bet was my response! Shared by Janice from MD
Easy Blueberry Pancakes
My emergency meal is BREAKFAST! I whip up some Bisquick biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and sausage or just make pancakes and sausage - a family favorite even for dinner :) good quick and hot!.

When I got home from the grocery store, I realized that I had forgotten the garlic bread! So I pulled out some Bisquick and added a little milk and decided to try putting in some butter and garlic and parmesan cheese. Those were the best biscuits I have ever made, Now when I make spaghetti I don’t even bother buying the bread, I just use Bisquick!”
