5 Ingredient Dinners Fast

Time for Dessert

Our expert advice makes it easy for you to bake warm-from-the-oven sweet treats for your family.

  • Dovetail baking into meal preparation. You've heard the saying, "Eat dessert first." We say, "Make dessert first!" Some of our Betty Crocker ® mixes for muffins, brownies, cookies and even cake take just a few minutes to mix. Pop them in the oven, then prepare the main part of the meal. By the time you're ready for dessert, warm-from-the-oven baked goods will be ready to eat or take to your next activity!
  • When you order pizza to be delivered, turn on the oven. While you're waiting, there'll be just enough time to bake one of our cookie or brownie mixes.

Check for time-savers in the Tips from The Betty Crocker ® Kitchens section included with our recipes. We've gotten so many requests for ways to use our time-saving mixes that we decided to include these helpful hints within our recipes.
